Alpine landscape with capercaillies (in German: Auerhäne) was executed by good listed Munich hunting and animal painter Moritz Müller Junior  (1869 - 1934). He was a son of the painter Moritz Müller the Elder and a grandson of Moritz Müller (Feuermüller).  Müller exhibited his works in Munich, Magdeburg, Frankfurt and Berlin, among others.

Technique: oil on canvas, original gilt frame.

Measurements:  unframed h 22 3/4" x w 19 1/4" (58 x 49 cm), framed h 25 1/4"x w 21 2/3" (64 x 55 cm).

Condition: good original condition, no any inpaintings, original canvas.
