Panoramic view of the famous mountain top Jungfrau in Switzerland (4157 m. over sea) was executed around 1920 by renown Austrian landscape artist Friedrich Albin Koko-Mikoletzky, born in 1889 in Austria, worked in Austria, Tirol, Switzerland in the period of 1920-40s and was known with his seascape and mountains panoramic views in Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

Inscription: signed F.Koko-Mikoletzky,Wien lower left; on the back of the stretcher a few inscriptions: 1. by the artist with the title in German: Die Jungfrau, 4178 m and his adress from the time; 2. of one of previous painting's owners in England.
