Masteful portrait of a german lady 26 years ols( on the reverse written in latein : "Aetatis suae 26" ( 26 years old). The miniature portrait created in 1827 by famous german miniature and portrait artist Chirstian (Johann Christian Ludwig) Tunica (1795 Braunschweig-1868 Deckenhausen by Hamburg). The artist , father of another well-known painter Hermann Tunica(1826-1907), sutdied in the first time by Manufacture of J.H.Stobwasser ( one portrait of Stobwasser situated in the City Museum of Braunschweig. After study in Dresden, Berlin and Duesseldorf worked long time in Braunschweig( since 1829 court painter ).Many his portraits and miniatures are in german museums and private collections : National gallery in Berlin, City Museum Braunschweig, Schauspielhaus Berlin.
