This summer ”Lesson in nature” was executed by good listed Austrian painter Hans Alexander Brunner (1895 - Vienna - 1968).
Brunner was born the son of a cab driver and studied landscape, portrait and historical painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. From 1912 to 1916 he was a student of Rudolf Jettmar, from 1916 to 1918 of Kasimir Pochwalski and from 1918 to 1920 he attended the master school with Josef Jungwirth. After completing his studies, he initially worked as a vocational school teacher before devoting himself to painting with religious themes after 1945.
