German animalist painter and etcher Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (born 1895) studied under Thedy, Hagen and Klemm in Weimar and then worked in Munich, Bavaria. In 1916 the artist added "Eberhardt" to his name and started to sign his works "Meyer-Eberhardt".
