This original project for popular Austrian magazine of the turn of 20 century "Oesterreichs Illustrierte Zeitung" was created in 1918 by high listed austrian genre painter and illustrator Professor Adolf Reich ( 1887 Vienna - 1963 Salzburg). He studied at the Vienna Art Academy , later worked as stage painter in the Volkstheater in Vienna and as Illustator in the "Illustrierte Zeitung " in Lepzig in Vienna ( in the time of WW1). In the 1930-s he moved to Munich and after 1946 lived in Salzburg.His most popular paintings were genre subjects and he was called as " Austrian Spitzweg). His works can be find in the international collections and museums , for example Lichtenstein Museum in Vienna.
