Masterfully portrait watercolour of mother and her son was executed in the Empire epoch by unknown German portrait painter , due to the orignal label on the backside of cover , it was created ca. in 1803 and depicting noblewoman Anna Sybilla Strecker, born Dietz (1778 - Frankfurt- 1810 ) and her son Gerg Peter Christian Strecker (1800 Darmstadt - 1864 Tuebingen).

Inscription: unsigned, on the reverse of the cover - original label with biographical info about sitters.

Technique: watercolour on paper. Orignal empire gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed w 8 3/4" x h 10 1/4 " (22 x 26 cm), framed w 11 1/2" x h 13 " (29 x 33 cm).

Condition: in good condition.
