Symbolistic design in the style of classical modernism was excuted in 1939 by Austrian painter, member of art union "Hagenbund" Erwin Stolz (1896 Giesshuebel/Sauerbrunn - 1987 Vienna), who was active between two wars. Erwin Stolz was born in Gießhübel as an only child of wealthy parents. In Mödling he received training as the agricultural engineer, but in his spare time busy he himself with the painting, which fascinated him already early. During the 1st world world war he served as an officer and as was finally kidnapped as a prisoner of war to Italy . To end of war he returned from the captivity and dedicated himself from now on only to the painting. At the beginning of as Schilder apinter , industrial graphic artist actively, he visited numerous courses to train himself further artistically . . He had contacts to Gustav Karl Beck, Mallina, Kenner , Rothaug and artists of union "Hagenbund" . After 1945 Erwin Stolz withdrew himself however from the world of art and died completely impoverishedly in 1887 .
