Part No.1 from the series of 25 antique gouaches on lithographical basis, created in Würzburg before 1855 under the title "Empire de Russie. Military regiments from the time of Alexander I - NICHOLAS I". Under each image - French or German title in print with the name of the regiments.

due to the research and confirm with famous images of the same person we came to the conclusion , that this lithograph depicts one of the most renowed Russian field-marshals Ivan Fyodorovich Paskevich (1782 Poltava - 1856 Warsaw). The hero of the Patriotic war 1812, the Crimean and the Polish campaign, field marshal Paskevich for 25 years largely shared the fate of Nicholas I.
Inscription: titled in print on the original paper undercover.
Technique: gouache on the lithographic basis, stucked on corners to the old paper with printed title of the regiment; unframed
