The Karavanke (GERMAN: Karavanken, Slovene : Karavanke ) are a mountain range of the Southern Limestone Alps. Along the main ridge runs since 1919/20 the border between the Austrian state of Carinthia and Slovenia Gorenjska ( Upper Carniola). The highest peak is the high chair ( Slovenian : Veliki Stol ) with 2238 m. The Lake Wörth (in German: Wörthersee) is a alpine lake in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia.
