Lovely Art Deco genre scene with with flirtatious flower seller was painted in 1925 by rewnown Czech illustrator and watercolour artist Karel Simunek (1869 - 1942). He studied under Prof. Vaclav Brozik and M. Pirner at the Prague Academy and was also known as a poster and stage designer.

Inscription: signed and dat.1925 lower right.
