Street scene (in German: Vedute)  in front of the Vienna Burgtheater was executed in 1930 by listed Austrian cityview painter  Franz Felix Thür (Graz 1890 - 1978 Vienna). He studied at the Art School in Graz and later at the Art Academy in Vienna.

Under image is the original authograph of then Director of Burgtheater  Hermann Röbbeling (1875 Harz/Germany - 1949 Vienna). From 1908 to 1930 he was director of theaters in Frankfurt and Hamburg and then in 1932-1938 - Director of Viennese Burgtheater, where he implemented numerous innovations. With the annexation of Austria to the National Socialist German Reich, Hermann Röbbeling was immediately removed from office and temporarily replaced by Mirko Jelusich, against which Röbbeling unsuccessfully protested to Joseph Goebbels. When he returned to Berlin, he was unable to find a new job because he was politically denounced. After the end of the war, he was again offered the management of the Burgtheater, which he was unable to accept for health reasons.
