Original Art Deco bronze figure of a male nude, bending a bow, was executed in 1929 by Austrian sculptor Max Schwedler, active in Vienna in 1920-1930s.
Inscription: signed and dated 1929 on the base, stamp in German: " Wiener Gesellschaft von Freunden der Kleinplastiken"( in English: Vienna Society of Friends of Small Sculptures).
Technique: bronze, dark brown patina.
Measurements: h 10 2/3" (27 cm)
