High quality masterful bronze sculpture was executed by famous American sculptor Rick Jackson (b.1940). Works of Rick Jackson are very high estimated, one of his sculptures was on sale of Altermann Galleries in 2002 with estimate 40,000 - 50,000 US$ (Fine Art Auction Database Rick Jackson shares his experience of life in the west by forming them in bronze. Growing up in the ranching country of Texas afforded Rick an abundance of real life experience and a deep appreciation for the unspoiled life of the American cowboy. Through his art, Rick´s intent is to capture a moment in time that evokes a specific, personal emotion in the collector allowing him to finish the story in his own unique, individual way. Jackson found himself drawn to the special beauty and appeal of bronze sculpture. Being self taught, he soon realized the creative process consisted of two basic steps. The first was learning to see. The second was developing the ability to use his hands to express his mind´s image. Jackson has participated in many prestigious art shows and sales and received countless awards. He is currently represented by galleries in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and California. Although a decade of experience has given him the ability to more easily express his interpretations of life, Rick Jackson continues to approach each new work as a new learning experience.

Since completing his first sculpture in 1980, Rick has participated in numerous art shows and sales such as the first airborne art show en-route to China in 1986. More recently, he was awarded Best Sculpture at the Classic Art Show in Albuquerque, First in Sculpture at the George Phippin Memorial Art Show in Prescott, Best of Show at the Western Regional Art Show in Cheyenne, and Best of Show at the WRCA Art Show in Amarillo. Commissions include Texas Cattle Feeders Association; Cutter Animal Health; Bayer Corp.; Provenant Health Center in Denver; Southwestern Adventist College in Keene, Texas; City of Abilene, Texas; Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene; and the Clark Gardens in his hometown of Mineral Wells, Texas.
