This masterfully antique porcellain figure is one part of three figures (see next two lots) depicting most famous actors and singers of Viennese Opera in the Biedermeier Epoch Johann Nestroy, Wenzel Scholz and Carl Treuman .This figure (as pencil tray) was executed in 1850s in Praque and depicting figure of one of most famous in the Biedermeier epoch Viennese actor Carl Treumann (1823 Hamburg - 1877 Baden by Vienna) as jewish character Samuel Flekeles in the popular comedy of the time , written by Theodor Flamm "Die Rekrutierung in Krähwinkel"(original German title).
