Fine qualitative carrara white marble figure of a seating nude with amphora was executed on the turn of 20th century by listed and high quoted Italian sculptor Guglielmo Pugi (1850 - 1915). He worked in Italy (Fiesole) and Paris, was popular with his marble nude figures and female busts. Literature: ADEC index; Panzetta 1994; Artnet on-line date base.
