This is a one part of the collection of 4 miniatures ( for other see item No. 3284,3285, 3286)., depicted portrait of Count Emanuel Ludwig Leutrum von Ertingen (1785 - 1858) in military uniform of a Prussian cavalry captain of the 2nd West Prussian Lancers Regiment, number 6 . We are greatful to the well-known expert on European military costume Mr Stanislav Lyulin, Moscow for a precise definition of the uniform. Count E.L.Leutrum von Ertingen was the represantative of famous Swabian noble family. His father Karl August Emanuel Leutrum von Ertingen (* 1732, † 1795), Sardinian royal treasurer, general-lieutenant and head of regiment, was elevated on 19 March 1781 by Victor Amadeus III., King of Sardinia, to the rank of count.
