Large panoramic view of a north italian lake with peasant house, antique ruins on the right bank and sail boats (probably Brenzone on Lake of Garda) created in the end of 19 century by austrian-italian landscape painter Othmar Brioschi (1854 Vienna - 1912 Rome). He was older son of Austrian painter Carlo Brioschi and brother of Anton Brioschi. In the first time he was active as theater painter and , studied by Quaglio in Munich, and since 1874 - ibn the Munich Academy.. In 1878-880 he worked with father in Wien . Later he studied until 1882 landscape painting (by Ed. von Lichtenfels) in Vienna and was awarded with Great State Prize and sendee to Rome. Since 1885 he lived in Rome and created italian landscape paintings.
