Masterfully portrait miniature of a young lady was executed in 1819 by listed Austrian miniature painter Koppay , who worked in Vienna in 1815-1830. he was pupil of Daffinger, his miniatures are in the style of the teacher in early time. His miniatures are very rare on the art market. He drew flawlessly, and his coloring is pleasant and discreet. At the S. Kende art auction in Vienna, June 5/6, 1934, the portrait of a young lady in a white dress, watercolor on ivory, signed Koppay 1820, was offered under catalog number 132.
