Large and rare icon in deep silver oklad of the Mother of God and two Saints: Andrey Pervosvanniy and Simeon Verhoturskiy. The icon signed indistinctly: ”1777 году писал устюжанин Федор Попов ” ( painted by Fedor Popov from Usjug”). Probably it means, that icon was executed by and monk and icon painter Fedor Popov in Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky Monastery,abolished monastery in Veliky Ustyug (Vologda department). Icon have masterfully original period deep silver oklad created in 1786 and stamped with 4 marks: 1. Moscow 1786; 2. 84 zolotnik; 2. Alderman (master of quality) Petrov Fedor; 4. unknown master A.T.
