Masterfully hunting animalistic painting with two dogs in the landscape ( breed - probably, German Bracke ), it was executed by famous German-Austrian animal and hunting painter Karl Ritter von Dombrowski (1872 at Schloss Ullitz in Bohemia - 1951 Obermenzing ). Karl von Dombrowski was the son of the landowner Raoul von Dombrowski to Paprosz and Kruszwice , who also wrote tales of hunters milieu . Dombrowski studied at the art academies in Vienna and Munich and was established since 1919 in Munich . His works appeared as woodcut reproductions in the magazine "Gartenlaube".
