A pair to the previous item number 7223.
Nice painting with pheasants, chickens, rooster and duckin the barn was executed by good listed French landscape and animal painter Léon-Philibert Couturier (1823 Chalon-sur-Saone - 1901 Saint-Quentin/Aisne). He studied by Charles and Jean-Claude Nicolas Couturier; since 1844 - at the Fine art Academy in Paris by Francois Edouard Picot. Portraits, genre, since 1853 - country life and animalistic paintings. worked as illustrator by different magazines and news papers.
