Busy street scene in Budapest from the time of early 20th century. The author , famous painter of Hungarian origin Antal Berkes (1874 - Budapest - 1938) studied at the Art school in Budapest under Jozsef Feichinger (until 1896), 1904 recieved State sholarship , awarded with bronze medal in London in 1908. Ground member of the National Salon in Budapest. Worked and lived in Paris in 1910-1920s. His landscapes and cityscapes were very popular among collectors, including Hungarian court,
