Large impressionistic painting with meadow, sheep and shepherdess was executed in 1909 by listed Austrian Landscpe and portrait painter Bernhard Zdichinec (Vienna 1883 - 1968 Rodun).
After attending the Graphic Arts Training and Research Institute, Bernhard Zdichinec studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and at the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. The artist worked primarily as a landscape and portrait painter. Among others, he portrayed members of the imperial family and Karl Lueger.
Zdichinec is considered the last Austrian court painter.

Condition: good original condition.
