Portrait of world-renowned Austrian composer Franz Schubert (1797-1828) was executed by listed Austrian painter and illustrator Rudolf Pöpl ( 1861 - after 1914). He studied at the Fine Arts Academy , lived and worked in Vienna in the late 19th/ early 20th centuries.

Technique:  oil on canvas. Original period frame.

Condition: in fairly good condition, original canvas  is crackled.
