Masterfully portrait miniature of a young lady in black dress and lace bonnet with a landscape on the background. It was executed around 1820s by an represantative of French school of miniature painters.

Technique: gouache on ivory, magnificent original period gold-plated wooden frame. 

Measurements: unframed, only image in oval 4" x 5 1/8" (10 x 13 cm), framed 11" x 12 1/4" (28 x 31 cm).
