High quality portrait miniature of a woman wearing a veil and her hair adorned with flowers. It was executed in the middle of 19th century in the style of renowned French miniature painter Jean Baptiste Isabey  ( 1767 - 1855). 

Inscription: signed illegibly D.M... , left in the middle.

Technique: gouache on ivory, painted in oval. Gilt bronze frame from the early 19th century.

Measurements: unframed 3 1/8" x 3 5/8" (8 x 9,3 cm), framed 4 1/8" x 4 3/4" (10,6 x 12,2 cm). 

Condition: good, no any cracks or retouchings.
