Street scene in a Bulgarian village was executed in 1937 by Bulgarian painter Dimitar Kamburov. Dimitar Kamburov was a Bulgarian artist whose work is associated with the period of the 1930s and 1940s. His works from this time are found in private collections and auction catalogs, which positions the author among the active painters of the interwar and early post-war era. He works mainly in the techniques of watercolor, gouache and mixed media. In terms of thematic aspect, urban landscapes and architectural motifs stand out - old Renaissance neighborhoods, Black Sea views and historical sites. The soft colorful range, attention to detail and lyrical perception of the urban environment are characteristic. Although biographical information about the author is limited, the preserved works testify to a solid academic preparation and a clearly expressed interest in the Bulgarian architectural and cultural tradition of the first half of the twentieth century.
