Funny family scene in the front of a house with a boy showing his mother a butterfly he had caugh. it was executed in 1845 by an Austrian or Italian monogramme painter L.R.

Inscription: signed with monogramm L.R.and dated 1845, lower left.

Technique:  oil on wood, fine original period gilt frame.

Measurements: unframed w 7 1/2" x 5 1/2" (19 x 14 cm), framed 14 1/2" x 12 3/4"( 37 x 32,5 cm).

Condition: good original condition.
