Masterfully portrait miniature of a young lady, dressed in the Empire gown and red scarf, with a landscape on the background. This miniature was executed c. 1805 by an French or Swiss miniature painter.

Inscriptikn: unsigned, on the back is ok inscription ain French about the sitter.

Technique: waterclour or gouaches on organic wafer (oval), period wood frame with gilt bronze mounting.

Measurements: unframed diameter d. 3 1/8"( 8 cm), framed 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" (10,7 x 10,8 cm).

Condition: very good, no any inpaintings, cracks or streacks.
