“Festive company in the palace interior“, this genre scene was executed by good listed Austrian genre  painter and orientalist August Stephan or Stephan Sedlacek  ( 1868 Königstetten - 1936 Vienna), who recieved acknowledge for his great genre scenes from the Rococo time and oriental works. Several his paintings arrived by international auctions high results till 20 000 €.

Inscription: signed lower right A.Stephan. 

Technique: oil on wood panel, splendid original period und-crafted and gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed w 20 7/8" x h 16 1/2" (53 x 42 cm), framed 32 3/4" x 28" (83 x 71 cm).

Condition:painting is in good condition, original frame shows signs of wear / flaking.
