This masterfully oil miniature on copper depicts portrait of a young wigged nobleman and was executed around 1680-1700. This work have all stilistic criteria of famous French portrait painter from the turn of the 18th century, Hyacinthe Rigaud (1659-1743). We attributed this work to his hand or to a painter from his studio. For comparison see our last additional images.
