Portrait of a child with flowers and cat was executed around 1905-1920 by good listed Hungarian portrait painter Joszef SENNYEY or Sennyei ( born 1885 in Budapest).

He studied painting with Hollósy in Munich, at the Royal Academy in London and with Fülöp Laászló. At home he made his name known mainly as a portrait painter. His painting "One of the last 48ers" was purchased by the City of Budapest. He had murals painted in the Tiszti Casino (Mater Dolorosa, Peace and War, etc.). In 1927 he had a fruitful exhibition at the National Salon. He painted in a naturalistic manner.
