 Potrait of a young beauty in transparent bowl was executed by French painter René-Louis DAMON (French, 1854-1937). 
René-Louis DAMON was born in Chédigny, France in 1854. Painter of portraits, he was a pupil of M.M. LOBIN and E. LAFON. He made his first appearance at the Salon in 1880 with a portrait. He became a member of the Salon des Artistes Français in 1884.
