” 4 Seasons”, fantastic-symbolistic work was executed in 1978 by good listed Austrian contemporary painter, represantative of Vienna Fantastic School Johannes (Hannes)  Scheucher (1939 Raning/Gnas, Styria - 2022 Vienna). 
His artistic career began with his studies at the School of Applied Arts in Graz, studying fresco painting under Prof. Rudolf Spohn from 1956 to 1959. He then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1959 to 1965 under Prof. Albert Paris Gütersloh and Prof. Herbert Boeckl. During this time (1962), he also received the Prize for Sacred Art from Cardinal König. He received the Academy's Master School Prize in 1963, a diploma in 1965, and a study visit to Hamburg from 1967 to 1968. This was where he created his "Human – Animal – Machine" drawings. 1968 – 1972 Work as a restorer 1984 New beginning in painting, graphic arts prize "Musicland Austria" 1985 Start of a new large series of paintings in the Belvedereschlößl studio in Stockerau 1987 Presentation of these paintings in a solo exhibition at the Stubenbastei Gallery in Vienna 1986 – 1988 Vice President of the Austrian Association of Visual Artists (BVÖ) 1988 Römerquelle competition (purchase) 1989 Exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Institute in New York 1990 and 1991 Exhibition at the Austrian Cultural Institute in New York 1992 "Picture Purchase AKH" Vienna 1992 Purchase Prize "Stefan Zweig" Traklhaus Salzburg 1995 Purchase Prize "24th Austrian Graphic Art Competition" Innsbruck 2003 Member of the Baden Art Association 2004 Large exhibition ("Portrait-Myth-Sign") for his 65th birthday at the Künstlerhaus Graz (catalog). 2008 Exhibition "Magic and Idol" with new works from recent years at the Galerie am Park in Vienna.
Hannes Scheucher's paintings and graphics are highly complex and accompanied by many transformations. Scheucher continually surprises with new stylistic forms in his pictures. These range from representational and symbolic forms to geometric patterns, or from opulence to clarity, to circles and squares. A cycle that returns! However, one thing permeates his entire work: the theme of "human and animal." Humans and animals in their fateful entanglement and involvement—in relation to and against each other—always new and full of enigmas. Hannes Scheucher lived  and worked in Vienna.
