Winter landscape in the Austrian Alps (probably view of mount range Wilder Kaiser in Tirol from west) was executed by Hans Smatlak Barma ( born in Vienna 1903), the painter of Vienna School, studied b Puchinger, later by Tichy and Jungwirt. Was popular among collectors with his winter Alpine landscapes.
Inscription: signed lower left.

Measurements: unframed w 39 1/3" x h 27 1/2" (100 x 70 cm); framed 43 1/4" x 31 1/2" (110 x 80 cm).
