Portrait of a young gentleman, said to be (due to the original memory inscription on the back of the canvas) Jan Jacobus van Loeuwen (1817 -1866), a famous judge in Utrecht. This work was executed in the first half of 19th century by a represantative of Dutch portrait school, signed with momogram P.C.W. or J.C.W.
inscription: monogrammed upper right.

Measurements unframed (26,5 x 32,5 cm), framed ( 32,6 x 38,3 cm).
Condition: overall good, slightly cracked.
