Scene in the front of the Doge Palace in Venice was executed ca. in 1900-1930s by good listed Austrian female landscape painter Lilly Aurelia Hofmann- Wimmer (1879 Vienna- 1953 Puchberg ). She exhiited her works at the exhibition "Die Österreichische Landschaft" by the  artist union "Kunstgemeinschaft" in Vienna in 1927.
