Sunset over the Wilder Kaiser mountain range in Tyrol, this winter painting was executed by Hans Smatlak - Barma ( born in Vienna 1903), the painter of Vienna School, studied by Puchinger, later by Tichy and Jungwirth. Was popular among collectors with his winter Alpine landscapes.

Inscription: signed Smetlak, lower right.

Technique: oil on board, original frame.

Measurements: unframed  w 39 1/2"  x h 27 1/2" (100,5 x 70 cm); framed 42 3/4" x 30 3/4" (108,5 x 78 cm).

Conditin: very good.
