This is bright seascape with a ancient tower  on the rocky coast was executed by Paul von Spaun (1876 - 1932 Munich) - German landscape and ´seascape painter, son-in-law of another German painter Karl-Wilhelm Diefenbach. Spaun´s strong, kolourful coastal landscapes from the area Capri are very popular by the international public.
