Impressionistic view of the garden of the Franciscan monastery in the old town of Dubrovnik, this work was executed by an Croatian or Austrian painter around 1890-1900.

Inscription: unsigned, on the back of cardboard is old Germn inscription: Klostergarden in Ragusa.

Technique: oil on cardboard, slightly pasted in the corners to fever plate.

Measurements: unframed w 24 3/8" x h 18 1/2"(62 x 47 cm), framed 28 1/8" x 22 1/4" (71,5 x 56,5 cm).

Condition: very good, professionally restored and cleaned.
