This masterfully Biedermeier flower painting was executed ca. in 1840s and is the typical example of famous Viennese Flower School of the middle of 19th century, and due to the fully identical style, composition and time of creation was attributed to the hand of outstanding Austrian still life painter Sebastian Wegmayr ( 1776 - Vienna - 1857).

Technique: gouache on paper, laid down on cardboard, original period gilt frame.
