Hand painted Russian icon “Christ the Almighty" in silver and gold plated oklad and kiot, unknown master mark in Cyrillic”Г.К” and silver 84 assay value, designated by a hallmark with a woman's head in a kokoshnik, turned to the right, indicates the period 1908-1917.
Inscription: placed twice : under bible and on the crown: Russian hallmark 84 with the woman head and mark of the unknown master. On the inner part of kiot - antique stamp of the icon shop in Odessa before 1917.
Technique: oil on wood, oklad - silver with plated gold, kiot -wood.
Measurements: icon w 7" x h 8 5/8" (17,6 x 22 cm), kiot 10 1/3" x 12" (26,2 x 30,3 cm)
