Large and rare icon in silver oklad of the Mother of God and two Saints: Andrey Pervosvanniy and Simeon Verhoturskiy. The icon signed indistinctly: ”1777 году писал Устюг... Попов ” ( painted in Ustug by ..Popov”. Probably in means, that icon was executed by (monk) Popov in Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky Monastery - abolished monastery in Veliky Ustyug (Vologda department).
Icon have masterfully original period deep silver oklad created in 1786 and stamped with 4 marks: 1. Moscow 1786; 2. 84 zolotnik; 2. Alderman (master of quality) Petrov Fedor; 4. unknown master A.T.
